As the crew set out to find natives of the Island, they come across such creatures and the fight for salvation begins.

Nine DVDSCR XviD-NEPTUNE

After the release of Avatar a few days back, we now have another movie that was up for multiple awards, its the DVDSCREENER of “Nine” from scene group NEPTUNE. Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) is a 1960s Italian film director, and he’s in a fix. His new self-centred epic is set to go into production at the famous Cinecitta film studio but he’s got no idea what to shoot.

The Yes Men Fix The World LIMITED DVDSCR XviD-ZOOM

It takes some nerve, not to mention diabolical intelligence and financial resources, to pull off the elaborate pranks devised by Andy Bichlbaum and Mike Bonanno (who are in real life Jacques Servin and Igor Vamos), the antiglobalization activists and satirical performance artists known as the Yes Men.

Plot: The Yes Men Fix the World documents the exploits of leading Yes Men-bers Andy Bichlbaum and Mike Bonanno as they impersonate the world’s power brokers and put words in their mouths. Sort of like a Sacha Baron Cohen movie, but with a sincere heart.

The film opens with footage from 2004, when the BBC mistook The Yes Men’s “DowEthics” webpage as a real arm of Dow Chemical Company and invited a representative to appear on live television. At issue was the 20-year anniversary of the infamous chemical leak in a Bhopal, India fertilizer plant that killed thousands and sickened hundreds of thousands. At the time of the spill, the fertilizer plant was owned by Union Carbide, which was subsequently acquired by Dow, making Dow responsible for Union Carbide’s liabilities. Only about $1,000 worth of remunerations per victim had been paid, and on the 20th anniversary of the spill, the BBC wanted a Dow Chemical representative to comment. The Yes Men accepted the invitation to address the BBC’s 300 million viewers on behalf of Dow.
